Adventure Premise
- While he is abroad, Count Calloway Duskveil has commanded his lowly familiars to deep clean and revamp the dusty decor in his shadowy manor, Duskveil Keep.
Outcomes
- Morbus, the Count’s most loyal familiar, was turned to mince meat by a glassbone horror while handing out chores, and the familiars had to retrieve Count Duskveil’s chore list from his remains.
- The familiars defeated a glassbone horror of Tharizdun by destroying the cursed mirror it was bound to.
- The familiars discovered a strange dagger, an ancient implement of Tharizdun, and Nemata picked it up for safekeeping.
- Despite massive intern casualties including Dwyer, Thomathy, and the ever-loyal Suds Mackenzie, the familiars were successful in feeding five corpses to the Count’s prized corpse flower.
- After troubleshooting and gathering requirements, the familiars completed a round of THE CORTEX GAMES in THE MIND ZONE in order to convince Coach Cortex to change the frequency of his pocket dimension so it would stop interfering with the internal transmitter.
- Ebli’s intern Christian Smith was hewn apart, body, mind, and soul after he refused to participate in THE CORTEX GAMES.
- Each familiar received a Cortex Band in appreciation of their hard work, and their efforts may have even brought Coach Cortex closer to sanity… though he still seemed extremely erratic.
