Adventure Premise
- During the events of Bobby’s Bachelor Birthday Bender, his cousin Gane Shillis’ soul was stolen by the infamous demon lord Pazuzu.
- The boys entered into an Infernal Contract with Pazuzu, agreeing to complete a quest to get Gane’s soul back… on weekends.
- Now, the boys must trek across the mystical Feywild and retrieve a very special item from the “Jaded Vault” to save Cousin Gane (and his comedy career).
Outcomes
- Questing to heist the Jaded Vault, the boys became lost deep in the Feywild. They were struck by insults from woodland critters and glassware from goblin teens, but eventually they got their bearings when Bobby threatened a squirrel with physical violence.
- They traveled to the Festival of Japes, a prank-filled celebration of Japel Fools’ day. There, shenanigans ensued while they caroused with the feyfolk to gather secrets, rumors, and items to aid them in their quest.
- Squeembo fell for a fey classic prank and had his name stolen by a festival-goer he was trying to de-curse. He chose the new, original name “Squeembis” for the remainder of the quest.
- David was brutally frame-mogged by a bugbear, but regained some of his lost pride by crashing out at the kenku karaoke tent.
- Quarf, refusing to be stolen from by klepto pixies, was marked for debt collection by an archfey.
- After failing to secure a job at the Marketplace of Jokes, Bobby used his rage and NEET strength on a hammer game and took the hammer as a prize.
- After gathering enough wealth to petition the jade sphinx guarding the crossing, the boys successfully answered her riddles four and crossed into the Jaded Lands.
- At the Jaded Vault, the boys made short work of the magpie tellers, and Bobby even pocketed one in his new bag of holding. Bobby, recognizing its importance, also pocketed an invitation to the Fathomless Vault of Tzastis the Collector, which was addressed to the Jaded Queen.
- In the inner chamber, the boys shattered the vault’s jade construct security with hammers and proceeded to beat the head teller Mr. Moneysworth within an inch of his life.
- Mr. Moneysworth cowered for his life and surrendered the vault’s treasure, which included Pazuzu’s first pal—the living demonic artifact Labubu. Before giving the artifact over, he implied that Labubu was secured in the vault for a good reason and that returning Labubu to Pazunia could herald the end of times, but he could not fully substantiate these claims.
